You need a space for your team to gather, celebrate or connect. Think EOFY parties, Christmas functions, client nights, team drinks, networking events or launch celebrations. The Bar & Lounge is your space — a fully licensed, heritage bar environment with atmosphere built in.

  • The space
    10m x 5m self-contained room. Completely separate from The Lounge and Bar — your own enclosed space with its own entrance, its own atmosphere, and its own quiet character.

    Light and architecture
    Stained glass windows that cast colour across the room in the morning. Natural light throughout the day. 14-foot ceilings that make the space feel open without feeling cold. Original 150-year-old floorboards, polished and maintained.

    Atmosphere
    A working heritage fireplace, lit and maintained by VIDA staff. Bespoke interiors — already beautiful, style it your way or leave it exactly as it is.

    Capacity
    Seated up to 40. Standing 60–80.

    Bar access
    The bar is open to all guests in The Front Room. Drinks packages, bar tabs, or pay as you go.

    Included furniture
    4 long dining tables, 8 round tables, 32 signature blue velvet chairs, 4 high-top cocktail tables, 8 white high-top stools, lounge seating. All glassware, crockery, cutlery and napkins (for up to 60 guests). Bud vases with neutral faux flowers.

    Bathrooms
    Men's and ladies' bathrooms with touch-up trays.

    Technology (meeting hire)
    75-inch screen, wireless keyboard and mouse, HDMI, USB-C, WiFi, and a venue host throughout your session.

    • VIDA is fully licensed — BYO is strictly prohibited under our liquor licence

    • Choose how you run the bar: Pay As You Go, Bar Tab, or a Drinks Package

    • Drinks Packages available: Bottomless Prosecco ($40pp / 2 hrs), Standard ($55pp / 3 hrs), or Premium ($75pp / 3 hrs)

    • Cocktails and signature drinks available upon request

    • All glassware is provided as part of your venue hire

    • Professional bar staff included with every booking

    • Your preferred bar option is arranged with us during the booking process

    • AV Package — $50 (75-inch screen, PA system, microphone, WiFi & HDMI)

    • VIDA Grazing Tables — $10pp, min. 10 guests (great for working lunches or standing functions)

    • VIDA Candy Bar — $4pp, min. 10 guests

    • Additional round tables (8 guests) — $30 each · Plates $1 each · Cutlery sets $1 each

    • VIDA does not provide in-house catering — food is entirely up to you

You need a dedicated meeting space — private, equipped and away from the office. Choose from The Front Room or The Bar & Lounge depending on your group size and setup needs. Both spaces are fully tech-equipped and beautifully styled. Walk in, sit down, get to work.

  • Boardroom — Best for board meetings, strategy days, small team workshops. All guests around one large central table — focused and collaborative.

    Workshop / Classroom — Best for training sessions, planning days, presentations. Individual tables of up to 8 guests, arranged to suit the session.

    Cabaret / Pods — Best for breakout sessions, group work, creative workshops. Small grouped tables — teams can work independently then come together.

    Theatre / Presentation — Best for talks, presentations, panel sessions. Chairs facing the screen or presenter — open floor, no tables.

    The Bar
    A copper-leafed bar, fully licensed and staffed by the VIDA team. A dedicated dance floor. SAMSON sound system — connect your own playlist. PA system with microphone for speeches and announcements. Large screen TV for slideshows and imagery.

    Capacity
    Seated 60–70. Standing up to 110.

    Bar access
    Full bar service for all guests in the venue — including those in The Front Room. Drinks packages, bar tabs, or pay as you go. BYO is not permitted under our liquor licence.
